In Life we face situations where some doors shut on us which cause dissapointment and discouragement. Have you imagined a Life where you can experience open doors almost everyday? I want to share some keys that I have learnt from experience which will help you believe again for a life full of open doors.
Well before we begin, some of you are already asking what is exactly an open door?
Here are seven keys that you can use to unlock your open doors.
Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Prayer unlocks the doors before you. To ask seek and knock is the realm of prayer. Where divine communication happens between Heaven and earth.
When you find God in Prayer it ultimately opens a door to your destiny and future. Therefore consistently encountering His Presence in Prayer and worship is the key to open doors in your Life.
Jesus said I am the door. Therefore If you Find Him you walk into the open doors in your Life.
2. Power of Speaking God’s Word.
John 1:1 says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Speaking God’s Word over situations, circumstances, issues, sickness, etc opens doors of blessings, healing and protection over our lifes.
When God speaks there is always an open door.
“Speaking negative words results in walls and fences around us”
God’s Word has the power to create something out of nothing. We see that in Creation. When our spirit is full of God’s Word it becomes the channel through the Holy Spirit flows and all doors of blessings, healing and favour opens up for us. Therefore speaking right words is the key to an open door.
3. Gifts and Talents.
Proverbs 18:16 A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.
Recognize what God has gifted you and develop that gift. Invest into that Gift. Become super-focussed on your gift.
Your gift is the answer to people’s problems and worries in Life.
Remember How Joseph’s gift rescued him from the prision and promoted him to the palace. Those who are gifted are often the most attacked by the enemy or even people. Jealousy and envy are two main strongholds against those who are gifted in the Lord. But operate in your gifting no matter the enemy does against you or what people say about.
When the enemy strangles your life, release the power of the gift within you.
Your gift will open all kinds of doors and favour in your life and make you stand before great men. God honors His gift upon your life. He has placed it within you to promote and excel you in Life. So therefore always guard what the Lord has blessed you with.
When we have a strong relationship with God it also creates or helps in bonding with people in the kingdom and the environment around us.
God opens doors through relationships in our life. Building the strong relationship and nurturing it always is the key to see God’s favour for open doors in your Life. God does not believe in Isolating us.
As you build trust and people see your gifting and potential the doors will automatically begin to open.
Nehemiah had the King’s decree upon His Life. Therefore he was able to cross the river and go and build the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah 2:7:9
Paul had a strong relationship with Barnabas and it was He who introduced him to the Apostles. Acts 9:27
Becoming a servant qualifies you experience the favour of your master.
When you serve you will not only walk through the open doors of your master but you will walk through doors that your master did not walk through because God always does something new in every season.
Jesus said to his disciples you will do more than what I Have done.
Through scripture we see the pattern of How the Lord promoted and blessed those who worked with a servant heart before their master.
Joshua was rewarded with a responsobilty of leading a nation into the Promised Land. Elisha was given the double portion of the Spirit that rested on Elijah.
6. Practicing the culture of Honor.
As much as we Honour God and His Presence every day in His Life. The more we spend time in His Presence the more Humble we become.
Proverbs 18:12 says Humility comes before Honour.
There are 4 kinds of Honor that one must practice always in Life.
We Honor the Son and The Father.-John 5:23
We honor all Men according 1Peter 2:17
We honor the King of the Land those in Authority.
We honor our parents – Exodus 20:12
7. Hard Work.
Working Hard is a principle in the Bible. Proverbs 14:23 says “All
hard works bring a profit but mere talk leads to poverty”.
You work Hard when you know what you are called to do is profitable.
Dilligent hands brings wealth says Proverbs 10:4:5
